Pre-Conference Session: Nutrition in Clinical Practice:  A Comprehensive Course for Physicians

A clinically oriented continuing education program designed by the American Society for Nutrition in partnership with the National Board of Physician Nutrition Specialists and tailored to the physician learner and medical school faculty.  All healthcare professionals, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dietitians, nurses, and others interested in applying nutrition science in patient care are welcome.

The American Society for Nutrition is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME)to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Meeting and Registration Policies

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY  

Partial Refunds 

  • Cancellation requests received by 11:59 PM CT on April 5, 2024, will receive a 75% refund. 
  • Cancellation requests received between April 6 and 11:59 PM CT on May 17, 2024, will receive a 50% refund. 
  • No refunds will be given for no-shows.  

How to Request a Partial Refund 

  • Refund requests must be received in writing by 11:59 PM CT on May 17, 2024.  
  • All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to asnnutrition@mcievents.com.  
  • All attempts will be made to process refunds within 30 days of cancellation. All refunds will be issued back to the original payment type. Cash and money order payments will be refunded by check. 

Non-Refundable  

  • After 11:59 PM CT on May 17, 2024, registration fees are non-refundable.  
  • No-shows (registrants who do not attend) will not receive refunds. 
  • Donations to ASN are non-refundable.   
  • Tickets to the Welcome Reception and ASN 2024 Class of Fellows, 50-Year Members and Past Presidents Luncheon are non-refundable after 11:59 PM CT on May 17, 2024

SUBSTITUTIONS 

  • Name changes, substitutions and badge-sharing are not allowed.
