Call for 2021 Nominations/Applications
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: January 22, 2021
Each year, the ASN Foundation’s awards program recognizes outstanding scientists, clinicians and scholars for significant contributions to nutrition research, education and practice.
Our awards span numerous areas of nutrition, targeting young, mid-career and senior investigators. This year, nominations and applications will be accepted for the following. Please click the links below for more information about each award.
ASN Class of 2021 Fellows
Senior Investigator Lectureships:
This award will be presented to a physician, clinician or investigator who has made a significant lifetime contribution to the field of obesity research. This award is designed to recognize an individual whose lifetime body of work includes meaningful contributions and/or demonstration of highly original, sustained, and reproducible scholarship that has made major contributions to the understanding of the causes, treatment and/or prevention of obesity.

This award recognizes significant contributions to the field of nutrition science or practice by an individual from the industry sector (includes commodity boards and industry trade organizations). This award is supported by ASN’s Sustaining Partner Roundtable.

Please note, due to the cancellation of ASN’s 2020 flagship meeting as an in-person event due to COVID-19, we will not be accepting nominations for other ASN senior investigator awards at this time. The individuals selected as recipients of the 2020 ASN awards will be honored and recognized during NUTRITION 2021 LIVE ONLINE which will be held virtually from June 7-10, 2021.
