The American Society for Nutrition’s inaugural annual flagship meeting, NUTRITION, was held in Boston, MA in 2018, making it the ideal destination for a NUTRITION homecoming. Culture

Boston’s culture is world-renowned.

Boston is home to two of the world’s most famous musical institutions, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops, as well as great museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts, the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Harvard and MIT Museums in Cambridge, the Institute of Contemporary Art and many more. Boston’s Theater District is located just minutes from both the convention centers and hotels and hosts Broadway plays and musicals. Boston dining is marked by astonishing diversity, ethnic variety, and proximity to the convention centers and hotels.

The Waterfront District, home of the BCEC, has famous waterfront seafood restaurants serving lobster, chowder, and other New England favorites. The Back Bay neighborhood, home of the Hynes Convention Center, offers hundreds of restaurants from steakhouses to sidewalk bistros, all within easy walking distance. You have hundreds of restaurants throughout the city within easy walking distance, with cuisine categories and prices to suit all tastes and budgets. 

Weather

Summer in Boston

That means warm temperatures, some humidity but luckily not too many muggy days.  Daytime high temperatures average in the low 80sF with warmer days reaching into the low 90sF.  Evening temperatures tend to be in the mid 60sF but can dip into the upper 50sF and may require a light sweater.
