Pre-Conference Workshop – AI and Precision Nutrition: Introduction to the Researcher Workbench

Co-sponsored by the Academic Nutrition Departments and Programs (ANDP), Cornell Joan Klein Jacobs Center for Precision Nutrition and Health, and the National Institutes of Health Office of Nutrition Research
NUTRITION 2026 Registration is required to attend.
This hands-on workshop introduces the Nutrition for Precision Health study’s goals, data curation, AI-ready data preparation, and use of the All of Us Researcher Workbench. Participants will learn how to navigate the platform, create a workspace, and generate basic descriptive statistics and data visualizations using NPH data. A working knowledge of R is recommended, and participants should bring a laptop.
To register for the AI and Precision Nutrition: Introduction to the Researcher Workbench, complete your NUTRITION 2026 registration and select the Pre-Conference Workbench add-on. If you have already completed your NUTRITION 2026 registration you can add the Pre-Conference Workbench by modifying your existing registration.

Kick off NUTRITION 2026 with a guided tour of Washington, DC! Explore the heart of the nation’s capital on Friday, July 24th, from 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM (return time subject to change based on traffic conditions). This private, guided excursion offers a look into Washington, DC’s rich history, culture, and legacy as you visit some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
Stops may include the National Mall, White House, Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, Franklin D. Roosevelt Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and the World War II, Vietnam Veterans, and Korean War Memorials. Routes and stops may vary based on weather, traffic, or special events.
Pricing: $70 Per Person
Capacity for the tour is limited and will fill up! You can add the tour to your registration by selecting it on the Add-Ons page of the registration site or by modifying your existing registration.

**Important Message Regarding Housing Scams!**
Room reservations for NUTRITION 2026 are handled exclusively by MCI USA. Phone, fax, or email communications from any other company or organization offering cut-rate housing for NUTRITION 2026 or stating that they are a viable alternative to going through NUTRITION’s official housing bureau are not affiliated with ASN or the conference in any manner. While it is not illegal for a travel firm or booking agent to solicit potential customers, it can be difficult to determine the legitimacy of offers from these organizations. Those who opt for alternatives to ASN-negotiated rates may find themselves at risk. Other groups report that after paying these types of companies, no room was reserved, and their credit card was fraudulently charged. For these reasons, and to support our efforts to give you a quality event, we highly recommend that you do not make any reservations through any unknown housing or travel company. Again, ASN has no affiliation with any of these room brokers. MCI USA is the ONLY official housing contractor for NUTRITION 2026. They will never call to solicit your business.
Meeting and Registration Policies
REGISTRATION CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY
Partial Refunds
- Cancellation requests received by 11:59 PM CT on May 1, 2026, will receive a 75% refund.
- Cancellation requests received between May 2 and 11:59 PM CT on June 12, 2026, will receive a 50% refund.
- No refunds will be given for no-shows.
How to Request a Partial Refund
- Refund requests must be received in writing by 11:59 PM CT on June 12, 2026.
- All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to asnnutrition@jade.mcievents.com.
- All attempts will be made to process refunds within 30 days of cancellation. All refunds will be issued back to the original payment type. Cash and money order payments will be refunded by check.
Non-Refundable
- After 11:59 PM CT on June 12, 2026, registration fees are non-refundable.
- No-shows (registrants who do not attend) will not receive refunds.
- Donations to ASN are non-refundable.
- ASN One-year Join Now Membership fees are non-refundable.
- Tickets to the Welcome Reception and ASN 2026 Distinguished Class of Fellows, 50-Year Members and Past Presidents Luncheon are non-refundable after 11:59 PM CT on June 12, 2026.
SUBSTITUTIONS
- Name changes, substitutions and badge-sharing are not allowed.
