Retirement Account Beneficiary

Many Americans have taken advantage of tax incentives provided by Congress to encourage saving for retirement through contributions to Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs), 401(k)s and similar plans. Naming the American Society for Nutrition Foundation as a beneficiary is a simple and powerful way to support the work of our organization without updating your will. All beneficiary gifts pass directly to the American Society for Nutrition Foundation without going through the probate process.

  • Contact your plan administrator or financial institution for a change of beneficiary form. Or visit the beneficiary page on their website where you can complete the form in just a few minutes.
  • On the beneficiary form, decide what percentage (up to 100%) you would like us to receive. Please list us as:
American Society for Nutrition Foundation Inc.
Tax identification (EIN) number is: 45-2473558.

Life Insurance Beneficiary

You can name the American Society for Nutrition Foundation as a beneficiary of your life insurance policy.

  • Contact your policy administrator for a change of beneficiary form. Or visit the beneficiary page on their website where you can complete the form in just a few minutes.

Tax identification (EIN) number is: 45-2473558.

You can also make the American Society for Nutrition Foundation a contingent beneficiary, which means that we will receive the balance of your policy only if your primary beneficiary does not survive you.
