Research Interest Sections (RIS)
Research Interest Sections ensure representation of and support for the various areas of nutritional research within the publications and scientific programs of ASN. These (insert number) groups enhance participation of and contact with members who have an interest in specific topical areas.
Councils
ASN’s (insert number) Councils serve as the basis for governance in ASN, integrating nutrition knowledge arising from various scientific disciplines, developing priorities and initiating translational and policy activities to support ASN’s mission.

Communities are an integral part of ASN’s annual meeting, NUTRITION. They host forums, social events, and contribute to the scientific programming. Throughout the year, communities plan webinars and other educational activities for members and non-members.
