Three ASN employees honored for professional development excellence in the practice of association management at ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition in Nashville, TN

Rockville, MD—August 25, 2022 – The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) is pleased to congratulate three staff members recognized during the 2022 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition in Nashville, TN, August 20-23 for earning their Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation. This includes Griff Courtney, CAE, Director of Engagement and Business Development, Amy Gavin, CAE, Director of Digital Strategy, and Felicia Price, CAE, CMP-HC, DES, Vice President, Meetings. The CAE is the highest professional credential in the association industry. Courtney, Gavin, and Price were honored for this achievement along with the 2020, 2021, and 2022 classes of CAEs, during the Awards Luncheon and Closing Keynote, Tuesday, August 23.

To be designated as a Certified Association Executive, an applicant must have experience with nonprofit organization management, complete a minimum of 100 hours is specialized professional development, pass a stringent examination in association management, and pledge to uphold a code of ethics. To maintain the certification, individuals must undertake ongoing professional development and activities in association and nonprofit management.
