Malnutrition (under nutrition, over nutrition and micronutrient deficiencies) is a primary contributor to contemporary global health challenges. As recently highlighted by the National Institutes of Health, combatting the multidimensionality of malnutrition will require innovative, interdisciplinary approaches to effectively improve human health outcomes.
