Award Information
This award recognizes early career professionals whose impact extends beyond research excellence to include outstanding contributions to the nutrition profession through community service, teaching, innovation, and advancements in science or industry. It honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional achievement in their field, including those who have attained success while navigating and overcoming diverse challenges.
Eligibility
- ASN Early Career I member (individual within 0–5 years of receiving a terminal degree)
- Demonstrates excellence in their professional field
- Shows significant contributions to the field beyond research (e.g., service, teaching, innovation, or advancement of science/industry)
- Open to professionals across all sectors, including clinical practice, academia, industry, community programs, food service, research, government, and nonprofit organizations
- Open to applicants nationally and internationally
