Attendee Support Opportunities
Apply for a waiver or scholarship to attend NUTRITION 2026

ASN is committed to making NUTRITION 2026 accessible to everyone who wishes to participate.
By minimizing financial barriers, we ensure the best components of ASN’s annual flagship meeting — learning, connecting and sharing — are accessible to all.
New for NUTRITION 2026! Athletic Greens Scholarship
Thanks to the generous support of AG1, seven Student Registration Scholarships for NUTRITION 2026 were awarded. Their contribution helps provide students with valuable opportunities to engage with leaders, expand their knowledge, and build meaningful connections within the field of nutrition.
Family Support Grants
ASN is committed to being family friendly and providing an open and inclusive learning environment. We understand how family care responsibilities can make it difficult to fully participate in meetings. Therefore, we are proud to offer grants to help facilitate your participation.
This year, Family Support Grants will be offered to scientists attending or presenting at NUTRITION 2026 to offset caregiving expenses for dependent children or family members.
A NUTRITION 2026 Family Support Grant is a reimbursable allowance up to a maximum of $100 which can be applied towards expenses incurred by an attendee for the caregiving of dependent children or family members by another individual. Please note that if a grant is given, documentation of the caregiving expenses must be provided to ASN.
ASN’s Family Support Grant program was recognized with a 2022 Power of Associations Silver Award from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), an honor that recognizes associations for innovative activities that further professional advancement. An article on ASN’s Family Support Grant program was published in Current Developments in Nutrition. Data will continue to be collected to evaluate the program.
Please see below for full details about the eligibility criteria and application process.
