The American Society for Nutrition’s Director of Knowledge Initiatives, Michelle Crispino, Honored for Professional Development Excellence in the Practice of Association Management

Rockville, MD (August 15, 2023) – The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) is pleased to congratulate Michelle Crispino, CAE, DES who was recognized during the 2023 American Society for Association Executives’ (ASAE) Annual Meeting & Exposition in Atlanta, GA last week. Ms. Crispino earned a Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation, the highest professional credential in the association industry.

To receive this certification, an applicant must be experienced in nonprofit management, complete a minimum of 100 hours in specialized professional development, pass a stringent examination in association management, and pledge to uphold a code of ethics.

Ms. Crispino has been instrumental in the design and execution of ASN’s annual meeting, NUTRITION, and a myriad of virtual educational events. She administers the Society’s accreditation programs that provide continuing education credits for physicians, dietitians, and other professionals. Most recently, Ms. Crispino developed and launched DiscoverNUTRITION, ASN’s new portal for online learning.
