ASN Presidential Student Scholarships

As leaders in nutrition education, you understand the importance of staying at the forefront of nutrition science, fostering collaboration, and growing your department’s impact. The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) shares this commitment and is dedicated to supporting the next generation of nutrition professionals.  

To best equip students for success, ASN is excited to offer ASN Presidential Student Scholarships for all active graduate students in Academic Nutrition Departments and Programs (ANDP) member institution graduate programs and departments. This opportunity includes all graduate students, even those in a combined graduate program/department, such as a Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences, at ANDP member institutions.

As an ANDP member institution, we encourage you to provide your graduate students with this opportunity to enhance their educational experience. 

If you haven’t yet submitted a list of active graduate students in your ANDP member institution graduate program/department and would like to, there’s still time. We’ve extended the deadline! Please get in touch by March 31, 2026, and we’d be glad to accommodate your submission.

1. First name 
2. Last name 
3. Email address  
4. Anticipated graduation date  
5. Current ASN Member status (Y/N) 
6. ASN member number (if applicable) 

When your list is complete, upload the file using the online submission form below. This information will be requested annually to keep graduate student records up to date. 

ASN will provide member scholarships starting in January 2026 and will host a virtual ‘New Member Orientation’ via Zoom in February 2026. Please note that any graduate student who already has an ASN membership outside of this scholarship will not be reimbursed for membership overlapping this period.
