Call for Session Topics at Nutrition 2019

Thanks for sharing your ideas! The call for session topics has ended. Head over to the new Nutrition 2019 website to stay up to date on plans for Nutrition 2019 in Baltimore next June.

We are currently seeking great ideas for consideration for the official scientific program of Nutrition 2019 (June 8-11, 2019, Baltimore, Maryland).

Criteria for these sessions include the following:

  • Excellence of science
  • Novel, timely topics
  • Balanced, objective programming
  • Multi-disciplinary appeal
  • Preeminent speakers, including individuals on the frontier of scientific disciplines that may or may not be traditionally associated with nutrition

Given the number of high quality submissions that we receive each year, we are unable to accept each session idea; in fact, only about 20% of the submissions typically move forward.

ASN’s Scientific Program Committee will modify proposed topics, particularly if multiple submissions on similar topics are received. The final decisions on session topics, focus, presenters, and length is the purview of the Committee. For these reasons, your suggested speakers should not be invited or confirmed.

We will strive to get back to you by November 1 with comments, questions or a status update.

We thank you for your time and interest in helping us develop a premier scientific program for Nutrition 2019.

Submissions Due:  September 7, 2018
