Rukshan Mehta
Rukshan is a PhD student in the Doctoral program in Nutrition and Health Sciences at Emory University. Her areas of interest include food safety, micronutrient malnutrition, implementation sciences in nutrition and maternal and child nutrition. She has extensive work experience implementing nutrition and health programs in low and middle income countries including India, Kenya and Namibia. Additionally, she has worked in the social service sector in Canada. She has a masters degree in Social Work and Public Health Policy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelors degree in Human Biology and Psychology, also from the University of Toronto. Prior to beginning her PhD, Rukshan managed a large scale cRCT looking at the program effectiveness of delivering multiple micronutrient powders to reduce anemia among children in Bihar, India.Nov 01, 2018
