The 2025 Class of ASN Distinguished Fellows will be honored in Orlando at NUTRITION 2025, the largest nutrition meeting of the year.

Rockville, MD (March 20, 2025) – The American Society for Nutrition (ASN) and ASN Foundation announce the 21 members who will be inducted into the 2025 Class of Distinguished Fellows of ASN (DFASN). Induction as a Distinguished Fellow of ASN is the highest accolade bestowed by ASN, honoring individuals for their significant contributions and outstanding lifetime achievements in the field of nutrition.  

“It is an honor to recognize the newest class of ASN Distinguished Fellows, whose lifetime dedication and contributions have shaped the field of nutrition science,” said ASN President Sarah Booth, PhD. “Their groundbreaking work not only advances our discipline but also inspires future generations of scientists, clinicians, and scholars committed to improving global health.”

The induction of the Class of 2025 Distinguished Fellows of ASN underscores the Society’s dedication to recognizing excellence and fostering advancements in the field of nutrition.   

The Class of 2025 Distinguished Fellows of ASN (DFASN) will be honored during the Distinguished Fellows, 50-Year Members, and Past Presidents Luncheon on June 1 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Hilton Orlando during ASN’s annual flagship meeting, NUTRITION 2025. Members of this year’s class join more than 500 other ASN Distinguished Fellows who have been recognized since the program began in 1952.
