December 12, 2017

Thanks to you the field of nutrition research and translation continues to thrive. The American Society of Nutrition Foundation (ASNF) is proud of a successful 2017 in which we continued to honor the world’s leaders in nutrition research while also funding and preparing the leaders of tomorrow.

Every day, your support makes the efforts of the ASN Foundation possible, and there is no time better than the holidays to express our warmest thanks for your continued involvement and support. Today, we’re asking for your help with our 2017 Year-End Campaign. Will you join the other ASN members who are generously providing funding needed to keep our momentum going strong as we enter 2018? Our goal for this campaign is to raise $75,000 by December 31st. If we raise that amount, the ASN Foundation will be able to:

  • Provide much needed Awards and Scholarships to the diverse spectrum of ASN members from students to lifelong investigators;
  • Launch ASN Foundation’s Medical Schools Initiative to equip physicians-in-training and other health professionals with the nutrition knowledge and skills needed to reduce the risk of many diet-related chronic diseases and assure healthy patterns in children;
  • Implement the recommendations and outcomes from ASN’s “Ensuring Trust, Transparency and Scientific Rigor in the Nutrition Science Landscape,” an initiative to enhance the quality and credibility of nutrition research in both the scientific community and the public sector;
  • Enhance ASN’s Online Learning platform – more free webinars, and greater online resources for members through ASN On-Demand;
  • And, more!

We need your help to make it happen.

Would you be willing to make a special year-end donation of $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to help us meet our goal and start 2018 on a positive note? We simply can’t do it without you. Your tax-deductible contribution will make a real, lasting impact on the ASN Foundation.

Thank you for your continued support and friendship.

With gratitude from your professional home,
